Our president, Bill Byrd, is chair of the Safety Engineering, Risk Analysis, and Reliability Methods track at the ASME International Engineering Congress and Exhibition in Vancouver, Canada, November 12 – 18, 2010. Authors are encouraged to submit abstracts for papers that they would like to present at the congress. In addition to the general topics of safety engineering, risk analysis, and reliability methods, a special topic is planned for Safety in Transportation.
