The nationwide 811 service for damage prevention one-call notifications is now in place, and a nationwide education campaign is underway. About 98% of the country is now covered by 811 service. And, to prove that the dig-safely community is totally hip (I guess that shows what generation I’m from, but never mind…), the public service announcements are posted on youtube.com:
