PHMSA Control Room Management FAQs and Inspection Protocols released June 17, 2011

On June 17, PHMSA released updated FAQs and new inspection protocols for the Control Room Management (CRM) rule. The FAQs provide additional information on the facilities and personnel intended; and, an explanation is provided for “safety-related” operators and parameters. The compliance questions are numbered to correspond to the like-numbered paragraphs in the text of the CRM rule.
